I'm a Sales and Film Tech here at Rayno Window Film's Distribution Center in Orange, CA.  Just wanted to reach out to those that might be curious about some of the things we've got going on.  I've been installing film for 31 years and have been around the block once or twice.  I just can't be fooled by a cheap imitation.  I personally was blown away by this product and suggest that anyone who cares at all about film performance, and/or their bottom line, should at least take a closer look at Rayno's Phantom.  We're talking cutting edge, patented technology you won't find anywhere else.  Feel free to contact me for sample roll.  714-771-3456-office, or text me anytime @ 949-201-6083.nano-carbon2-01.pngr more info and a free

Idk... I received 2 samples. Olando was the rep. Super super nice guy!  Very accommodating the first sample of the s5 was scratched all the hell off the roll. Installed anyway to see how it handled. Top edge peeled back off continuously and after leaving it on for 2 hours in the Georgia July sun. It came off like static cling. Informed olando and he sent a sample of s9. Significantly better film. But shrank terrible and very distorted clarity Idk maybe I got a bad batch but was not impressed

  2. Used express for over a year. Been with SolarFX now for right at 2 years. I've almost every line available from both. Express is ok. never had any construction issues at all. It's harder to work with than the SolarFX. SolarFX has got the best adhesive and scratch coat I've ever seen!  I use now the Ultra series and the HybridFX Series. Both are phenomenal in their respected fields!  Solar is a little harder to get the hang of shrinking(takes more heat). But once you find your groove. It'll form to anything!  And creasing isn't an issue even for such a thick film and the beautiful thing is... if you do crease. Little heat and hater blade. And it will chisel right out!  I've used just about every big name film out there. And SolarFX is by far the best all around film for the money that I've personally handled.

As for bad reviews, repond/reply to them in the most professional manner; which can actually make you look good.

As for them being cheaper, I would stress that your installs are cleaner, which is most important and if something happens with the film, you'll be in business to assist them.   Also explain you see these shops come and go and if they want great film and install you're for them, but if they want cheap shiat, you're not. That basically what i do now, i say if you want best film and install im your guy, but if you want just a cheap price and film that last a year im not for you.  And no, i wont match there price...many $99 tint are out there that will be gone really soon go find them.  You get what you pay for.

Edit: You mentioned he does good work.  I would say that ceramic is usually around $4-$500. If he charges that low, i doubt your getting ceramic=cheap rebox.

Yes the quality of the installs are actually really good. Very clean. But the film is blistering at the one year mark. And as thin as plastic cling wrap when removed.  I've seen the film is plenty of quantity and it's in no way Ceramic. It's a cheap 1 ply at best!

  4. I usually do... as much as I wanna stick the price to em for not using me to begin with. I can't stand giving a quote. Then go elsewhere. Then come back for help. But I have been know to even offer help and advice for free. He's botched several stereo jobs. One on a dangerous level. And I've won those customers over doing so. But man it just sucks ya wanna tell them it's all lies and smoke and mirrors.

  5. I haven't found a good solution!  I still have new customers coming in daily. And my die hard repeats will always come back. But I do see work walk over price. And I try to explain without bein an ass. The really crappy thing is I'm starting to see some of these customers return from months back or a year or so ago. And having to strip and retint from this other shop. And his work is good but crap Film always shows it's true colors.  And it's purple lol

  6. Hey guys we're a small shop in a small town surrounded by larger demographics. Full on one stop accessory shop from tint, audio, lifts and leveling kits to custom fab work with over 10 years in the field. I've dealt with and tolerated fly by night shops every year that simply fizzle out. But we've got one now standing for about a year. Advertising 4 Door car Ceramic jobs for $125. And entry level Films for as low as $40. This alone makes for a hard time educating customers on the benefits of Ceramic lines and outweighing the cost. But this guy bashes us left and right. Social media. Word of mouth. Goes to the dealerships I service and talk mad sh** to try and get their business. Fake reviews about us. This list goes on!  What the hell do you do with a guy like this?  How do you softly explain to your customers that those $100 jobs ARE NOT Ceramic and most likely aren't even lifetime stable Films?  I've never talked trash about other shops. It's just bad business but I'm at my wits end here!  Any input would help!
