Polishworks got a reaction from jonathan9573 in PPF - is this normal?
Looks to me like a non cap sheeted film that may have been installed. Non cap is fine but when it’s stored uninstalled it can haze and do funky stuff. Sometimes you can heat it up and repair it but most times not. This happened to me with suntek a few times.

Polishworks got a reaction from Eurotone in PPF on Ceramic Coated finish?
I’ve installed plenty of film over ceramic coated vehicles with lasting results & no lifting. But, then again many variables here.

Polishworks reacted to PRatx in PPF - is this normal?
few things that can be try.... leave it in the sun, light pass with heat gun , boiling water, light polish
if none of this works than replace.
it may be the top coat hazed from when the film is rolled or if has been "bend" - handle improperly when the hood was installed

Polishworks reacted to Film_Pro in Fender full wrap kit - does it wrap into the wheel well edges?
Maybe no one else will tell you. Don't waste your time sanity and money. Pay to get it done.

Polishworks reacted to PRatx in First time doing Paint Protection Film.
except the mid scoop , similar hood , and no fingers , or minimum.
stretch the material and tack the film before you squeegee .
if you work a partial kit , than bulk it , so you are not limited to options....
7 is a light pull and squeegee that area.

Polishworks reacted to Jake in slip solutions
With Xpel Ultimate i use baby shampoo. With Suntek i used dawn Ultra. I felt the dawn gave a better tack with Suntek's less aggressive adhesive.

Polishworks reacted to Speed in 18 Ferrari 488 spider
The last Ferrari I pulled paint on was a "gently used" F430 with 2800 track miles. Acquired from out of state, the dealership asked me to remove the beat up film and sure enough a little of the clear came off above the windshield. No big deal I figured, happens far too frequently on these things. Well no big deal until the new manager called me in his office wanting $5000 for the repaint and $30,000 diminished value. Its not worth the risk as far as my business is concerned, anyone with enough coin to buy one of those things has a better lawyer than I do.
