the line is caused because the dots are raised off the glass, causing a "tent-like" effect with the tint. You can wait until it dries and on a warm day, push the tint down as I can see you did with your finger in that one spot....but even then, you are going to have air space trapped around the dots (as you can see where you pushed them). I have tried those dots with vinyl and have never been happy with the results. If I were you, I would just leave the tint the way it is....everybody else that has those Civic's tinted have the same issue.

If you want to complain to someone, complain to Honda for putting the stupid dots there in the first place.

. I think it is not professional to do something like that and at the end try to charge more to fix it, whenever I give a price it already includes everything.

In fact, pick up a few back glasses from a wrecking yard tthat have the dot martix at the top of the window, then be able to show the how each back glass might appear using the different methods of dealing with the dot matrix, they see the result of each and do not have to guess what is being described to them, could make for easier closing of the sale.......

:hmmm I don't get it....from those inside pics it looks like the top 6" or so isnt tinted...but from the outside, it looks like the whole thing is..... :chin

I believe wat ur seeing there is the building top edge, witch does make it look as tho the top 6' are gone...??

On another note.... I still 2 this day, cant believe any real window tinter that calls them self (professional), would EVER not tint the matrix!!? Or along the same lines... cut out a 3rd (unless adamantly requested by the custy) and I still will talk them in2 not having me do that since it looks so dam tacky!!

I have nearly rear ended cars that had the 3rd brake light tinted over,

the other brake lights oncthe car were not working, and all you see is a

little bit of red, if that.

Not tinting over the 3rd makes it very more visible in those cases, for me

it is just a matter of safety.
