The way CNN is handling this, and the guy in the blue shirt they have on, seems this is going to be a "911" moment, leading to some draconian gun control measures and probably biometric chipping of all the kids. A "Patriot Act" type of situation.

Society as a whole has been in a long downward spiral for years. Things like this shooting should Never ever happen, what in the world could prompt someone to open fire on 1st grade kids? It is simply inexcusable. God bless the families.

Reports are coming in that he had Autism possibly Aspergers Syndrome. How he got these weapons - or if some idiot actually sold them to him is beyond me.

That would not be a legal firarms sale, gun control laws are already in place for this and they obviously did not work. Loosening concealed carry restrictions may help stop these things quicker but nothing can prevent them.

I have a girl in kindergarden and I'm not sure I would make it if this happened to her.

Yes, in hours there will be call for more gun control, and as usual, we will all know this soulless guys complete history, down to what he ate an hour before he did this, and nothing will be done about remembering the victims and their families pain...only the shooters. We will see past pictures of him and never the smiling faces of those kids.

Thankfully, my kids are home schooled.

I can't believe the amount of idiots calling for gun control now. let's make the US a 'gun free zone'. that way we'll all be safe. yeah cuz it sure seems to work for schools doesn't it? way too many morons in the world. just think if that principle had been carrying a small handgun, maybe the story in the news would be alot different today.

The fact that these phucknuts target places like schools tells you they are cowards at heart, otherwise they would walk into a police department full of cops, or a gun range and start shooting. If RESPONSIBLY armed citizens were more common than not, these types of incidents would be reduced bigtime.

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      I can't win with getting tint decent on the windshield. I had 3M on my F150 done twice and still has major defects. Recently did Stratos twice on my F350 and I see this granular spotted, texture pattern on the tint. It's super obvious in the corner here but also right in my view when driving. It's honestly hard to point out and show someone but when your driving and stuff is moving behind the windshield, it becomes more obvious. The lighting also matters. The first time I did the windshield, I had a two foot line on the windshield. Thinking it was tint, they removed the tint and it was apparently a defect in the Ford windshield. An issue between the laminated glass layers caused this big defect. So they removed the tint, I had Ford replace the windshield on a 2024 F350 but when the tint shop removed the tint, they made a bunch of micro scratches in the front windshield, probably from scrapping the glue off. I told them but I didn't care since Ford was replacing the windshield anyways. So if basically I'm trying to figure out what this texture stuff is and if I should have them replace or remove it. Replacing it might just have different issues but also afraid they will scratch the windshield.

      Need some help

      Never overlook the condition of the floor. Back when I did install, I used to mist the floor between the vehicle and the peel board. This is done between misting the window and walking toward the peel board to mist the pattern liner, peel liner and spray adhesive for install. Tacks any dust for the duration of each pattern install, so repeat each time a pattern is going to be installed.
