final prep

always a dry corner or part of the paper towel and wipe one side. Then another dry part and wipe the top....if it leaves any moisture on the glass then take a small "smoothie" or hard card and get that off the glass.

So you wipe with paper towel after you squeegee then spray glass and install?

I do not. My last pass is with a squeegee only.

Depending on the shape and size of glass, I usually wipe top edge and left side dry and pull squeegee either left to right or top to bottom. Then wipe all water to edges I pulled to, sometimes re-wipe the starting edges if I left water from starting the squeegee.

This is just about the same thing I do.

We have different methods depending on the frame. For storefront glass wall, we wipe the frames with a damp clothed sponge, spray the glass and scrape, squeegee with 12" unger, go across the top with yellow or black 4" squeegee and flush down the edges and bottom. Then stick it.
