1979 Camaro

Have one coming in on Monday. Haven't done any 70s models before. Some late 60's, 80's and newer only. Anyone have any advice for me on this car? Back glass looks like it could go either way.

Lots of gunk to clean from the seal inside, chrome trim makes the shrink a little harder than if it was just flat, outside width dimention about 1/2 inch longer than the inside. Hope it doesn't have defrosters. Not much room to work the bottom especially with speakers there.

This window does shrink in 1 peice. I personally get a glass guy to pull out the back glass so it gets done clean with no border . If its a show condition car, it's worth it, if its a pos , just cut it short around the perimeter to avoid the uneven urathane , but a 1/4 " black pinstripe around the outside border.

make sure the inner pads are in good condition for the doors or the tint will tear

I agree with pulling the glass. I saw one these recently at a car show and there was a lot of extra urethane around the border on the outside. Looked like it would be pain to shrink w/o pulling it.
