72" jaguar RX or 40" Roland GX plotter

Recommended Posts

Looking for some input as to the benefits of each. I do ppf and auto/fg tinting. Here are my questions:

Cost for the USED Roland is $3600, JagRX is $5600, plain Jag is $4300. Thoughts?

Flat glass installers, do you feel it saves time precutting your film in the plotter? Job size matters I know. Is it normal for FG installer to cut film in plotter?

How easy is the Jaguar RX brand to use compared to Roland?

Jaguar has two options; Jaguar RX and no RX. What's the difference? Is it worth it to pay for RX?

Plotter users, is the table or catch basket better?

Thank you for the help in advance. Any other suggestions or tips please feel free.

flat glass precutting saves time but you will find times when the customer changes mind or something happens and they cancel job then your stuck with all that cut tint. Just make 100% the job is on and they definitely want that type of tint.
