Thanks for your help! I think I understand

Basically what you want to do is mark on the outside of the glass where it's position is going to be when all the way up. And of course when you cut the pattern, make sure the window is all the way up. Cut the pattern a little bigger so you can avoid light gaps. Good Luck!

I would like to add,, that when you roll your window down a little at the install phase, if you will reach up and press down with the palm of your hand, over the top edge of the rolled down window, in the center.  This will set you window in place if it has rocked a little on the way down.  This also tells you just how much your window is moving. 

 

 So when you go to install, after you clean the bottom and go to roll it down for the top section, Just reach up and push it down a little to set in its tracks.
