Has anyone ever had a customer come back and personally apologize for accusing you of something that they thought you did and found out different?

Had a guy call me up and say that he could hear a noise after I tinted his truck. He said it sounded like the tint was flapping in the wind. I told him to look everything over real good and call me back. He called back am apologized and said it was a leaf under his hood.

This customer blamed me for removing one of the door panels on his 2015 Chrysler 300 even after I told I don't remove those because they can be a reel pain in the azz. I showed him the tools I use use to install the film and then offered him that I will take a look at it since I was the last one to work on his car. He decided to take it to the dealership and one of the mechanics determined that one of the upper clips was flipped upside down not allowing the panel to snap in all the way that was done from the factory. Instead of him calling me and apologizing, he drove 30 minutes out his way to do it in person.

      help arquitectural in Puerto Rico heat

      Hi, new to the forum but a previous lurker. Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on tints for a business in Puerto Rico who's windows face north (humidity 80% temp 70-100). Main concern is heat reduction though i would like for it to not be super dark since it is a work area. Have not contacted installers yet since I wanted to have some knowledge about products and specs beforehand to make sure im getting what i need. Thank you! From what i've gathered i should look out for: dual reflective film and low absorptive/high solar reflection products used this topic among others for research: "should be a go-to such as: 3M's Night Vision15 or NV25, Vista Film's Dual Reflective18 or DR 28, LLumar's DR15 or DR25 (which closely matches 3M NV), or Madico's Optivision in and around the same number assignment. The numbers assigned to films represent the visible light transmission of the product." "The higher the reflectivity of a film product, the better when dealing with desert heat."

      It looks like the end of the roll was used which has adhesive marks from being attached to the plastic core. You can't use the very end of the film roll.

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!
