When my Dad worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield  they would call him a day early and make him spend the night before the storm at the office, just so he could be at work.  Huge office building for Insurance.  I never understood it when I was a kid.

Same at my old job. If your relief didn't show you would be staying. Luckily I never had to. One time I was put on call for hurricane duty. Hurricane totally missed us. They called me at five that afternoon because a pump tore up. I was like what the Hell that doesn't have anything to do with the hurricane.

Seems they have issued a blizzard warning for this area Friday nite- sun morning.......

You know I don't get to many no shows. Usually if we discuss price and agree on everything I don't have too much problems. I do get the occasional last minute cancellation which is pretty frustrating.
