Thanks for asking @no ma'am , I am still waiting on the building package to come in. Estimated time of delivery was 6 to 8 weeks so any day now! In the mean time the city planner informed us we will have to bring it up to the new adopted city code and screw Styrofoam, texture coated crap to my metal building which will add $40,000 more to thr rebuild cost. They are refusing to give me a variance as of late. My hubby and I will go before the board to try and plead my case as for hardship caused by unforeseen events of nature. For now it is a waiting game. Big sigh.......

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..
