Required course for new installers?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys - was wondering, have y’all heard of a required course to learn how to install? I’ve been apprenticing for a few months and when I tried to order product today from Suntek I was told I have to go to a 6 week course in Anaheim or Dallas for $3500!? 😱😰Seriously? Do all companies require this? Or do I just need to choose a different company?

I don't have any issues with them at all, mainly because I don't use them :spit

I don't doubt their fg films but the auto is straight garbage. Scratches easy, fails in 3 or so years according to a customers post and my personal experience their ceramic is hazy.

Eastman bought ST for 2 reasons. First they wanted their PPF technology and 2nd.. They posed to much competition for them. After the purchase they systematically gutted quality control at ST deliberately. Its now the red headed step child of the Eastman portfolio. As others have suggested look at Global. It's a rock solid product.
