Is this an acceptable gap?

One is obviously more than the other, we don't think either is ideal but the one that is worse really seems unreasonable.  You can't see the gap when the windows are rolled up but the tint is so dark that when the windows are rolled down a little, it seems very obvious.  Thank you for the input!

Could have been better in my opinion. It should either be very close to the edge, or at the edge and shaved depending on the tinter.

Probably too much slip and it shifted.

Thanks!  We believe it shifted as well.  We are currently in the process of having it redone.

To be honest, that's a very weak excuse.  Both windows must have accidentally "shifted" during install...really?!  Either way it's great to see you had them redo it.

 Not great but it could happen. What is great is that the shop is making it right and not damaging the the industry by ignoring the raised issue. Any good installer that has the opportunity to hire help because of a good reputation has had to deal with the pain of oversight.

That pic is hard to make out. Can you take another from straight on? Maybe another from the inside showing the top edge?
