never give the customer more than 3 choices, having a major inventory on hand costs you $$$$$, order it if you need it.
[*]275341
nothing worse than a customer that walks away because "they have to think about it" only to never return bevcause thier brain can't handle too many options from you ing too much with every film out thier

cool, thanks for the tip , I usually toss them . at a buck apiece I'll cut about 5 , grab another when they peel or nick.
[*]273111
Yeah..I got about 2-3 times the use out of them since buying one from my distributer...I think they're around $6...not long to pay for itself if your a fan of using the b/w
-
that's how I have my b/w as well...do you have the cutting phere/shaver? If not , get one..as soon as your blade gets "nicks)..one swipe and it takes a micro shave off giving many "new " edges per 1 b/w

He wasn't too keen on the subscripion thing, he was polite about it, don't get me wrong, but I guess he just did not agree with the whole idea.

It's understandable that a few out of many wouldn't agree with it.

Good question TG..was thinking the same thing myself the other day

How fortunate for you :inot

I normally never book more than 3 appointments per day, regardless of what kind of vehicle.

This is most of the time me as well...but this is a loaded question ...it's the same question as the beloved DMC question of "how many cars CAN you guys /gals do a day" ...usually ends in a trainwreck.
I'll give you the easy answer to this B4 all that happens though. Do the work yourself ..if you can handle it and are happy with the quality your producing ..GREAT !
If quality or lack of quality time is suffering ..calculate which is better for you and your business...the training of a tinter to work to your standards or letting the extra work slip by that you can't handle.

..oh yeah...I think your email box will be over flowing now...

I think so too!

This movie sucks with the exception of Dennis Hopper's character...somewhat.
IMO...a true waste of money

Don't know much about the biz myself ...hopefully you meet a few more on here in your line of expertise !
Welcome to the forum

The odds of you finding someone on a window tinting site that owns one of these cars that would fill the survey out is very unlikely ..

Most excellent attitude to have on the subject
Since this thread was quick and to the point and I'm sure will be asked again, I'm going to pin it up for a bit and let TD take it down when he sees fit

Yes...PPF forum is no longer. It is gone for good and unlike last time , it will not be coming back due to the fact for undisclosed reasons it was WAY more trouble and required WAY more maintenance than it was worth. Sorry the users of this forum that had to lose out for the misuse of the few.

yea but the 93-96 or so, are a biatch to do if you are removing panels or even windows, screws all over the panel, when taking out windows the whole rubber comes off along with the small vent glass.....
[*]255523
If you take out the 2 top screws on each side , the 2 screws in the handle and the plastic triangle mirror cover, the panel pulls back and gasket pulls out of these with gentle prying of plug puller .that way you get the benefit of having the panel off ...without having to remove the panel.
A way ...not THE way

..struttin' his stuff lookin' all pimped out like...

I find I can easily get drawn into too many TV shows...so I pick and choose...I liked it though

I find that other than a camaro (in my area anyways):
20" , 24" , 36" takes care of all my auto needs
48", 60", 72" takes care of commercial, residential needs

Where in Canada are you from Goodtohave?

OK..I've read this 2 times B4 replying, So I'll reply keeping in mind I/We have heard YOUR side of the story. Others may reply differently.
Your in a "spot " in this one...your one saving grace :
I'm not really bothered by not having those lines[*]250867
From a tint shop's point of view, this is the REAL cost to making you happy ...the replacememt cost of the rear window (the only TRUE way of having all wires working without looking like )
B4 going off to court, the simplist solution might be to ask then to remove the film and give your money back and to never mind about the defroster wires working ( my guess is they will be all too happy to get rid of the "problems " that could go on and on with this.
This way it is simple..you weren't happy with the job, you ask for your money back. Your happy (find another shop and don't bad mouth that shop since they did make it right with you in re- imbursing you ) just chalk it up as a bad experience for both of you .
And no one has to go to court
This may be Devil's early years
