I think everyone is going to say what @Blackwolftinting said. Talk to the shop, it all starts there. 

They can only “prove” it by letting you look inside the film core prior to the film’s installation. And then allowing you to watch the entire job. Not many shops do that. But that’s the only way, and even then an unscrupulous person can swap out the core labels. You just have to find a shop you can trust. 
 
As far as the scratch; as professionals we carry insurance. But most of the time it’s just easier to pay someone to fix the damage out of our pocket rather than make a claim. Sometimes the deductible is higher than the cost of the repair. Remember, we’re humans installing plastic on your glass. Accidents happen. What makes a shop truly professional is avoiding those accidents, but rectifying them if they do happen.

I'd always been using the regular yellow turbo on the sides, but the regular green i got one day and have been liking it, it's somewhere between the black and the yellow in firmness. If you like the Fusion yellow turbo, you may also like their green for cleaning, it seems slightly firmer than the regular green. I use the blue little foot when running down the sides, but ask me again after i order tools, could totally change lol.

I kept the scraper away from it all together and used a soft white scrubbie and cleaner just to loosen any contaminates and went right over the coating . No warranty due to stupidity of the manufacturer . Came out fine and customer was happy I didn’t take a blade to his window . Not debating if I should have or not ... just the customer and My mutual agreement in how I was going to proceed if he wanted it tinted at my shop or not . I wasn’t going to mess with that coating and potentially pay for new glass it ruin it . Too many cars lined up that doesn’t have “issues” to bother with the risk.
