Hello, I just wanted to share my new YouTube video. I’m hoping to show window Tinter’s how to create their own window tint patterns. I’m working on creating a new video on how to scan your own side windows and back window too, hope you enjoy!
But I’m also wondering if anyone has seen a video on you tube or know of one that shows you how to scan your own window tint patterns, and create your own patterns? Or would mine be the first?

"Another tint shop" no one can tell you they got a price from another tint shop. 

You will get an odor if you are using regular water.  TintSlime will separate the chemicals in regular water, causing a terrible smell.   
 
Switch to distilled water.  No more smell and your Slime will perform better.   

I just seen that white stuff in my head...and I've never had an issue with equate baby shampoo I just switched from tint slime to equate because my water tank started smelling like death..... so much for "NO MAINTENANCE".....I'll stick to my baby shampoo and rinsing my crap out every other day

Well I just have a red dot in my pocket. As far as snapping I don't do a ton thanks to the plotter but I do that in the trash can as needed. I did transfer to this for a short period that I really enjoyed. 10 bucks at Lowe's and was more comfortable than the pouch imo. Great thing about the tray is climbing into the back seat all my tools are right beside me instead of digging under my gut to find them

I've noticed with tint slime water tanks stink after awhile

I just seen that white stuff in my head...and I've never had an issue with equate baby shampoo I just switched from tint slime to equate because my water tank started smelling like death..... so much for "NO MAINTENANCE".....I'll stick to my baby shampoo and rinsing my crap out every other day

So I’ve used the shampoo and the wash. Both seemed to work ok, if it wasn’t to hot outside. Which where I’m at, most years you can’t even tell that it’s winter. Anyway, when it’s hot, I’ve noticed that if I don’t squeegee real fast it will start to dry and leave whitish rings in the shape of the water bubbles that were there before I squeegeed. They dry out, but still a pain. So I’ve quit using both of those products.
There could be some other variables causing that though, such as the water where I’m at, or the adhesive on the film.

Last time I thought about quiting was in the first year of tinting, as much as I wanted to I couldn't. My girlfriend was pregnant and I had recently been fired by my uncle at his restaurant for being really late. The guy that took me under his wing to teach me had a business but decided to bail due to personal reasons and asked if I wanted to keep the business or he was going to ask for his deposit on the store. With a pregnant girlfriend and nowhere to go I said "fuck it". He taught me for about half a year, I was only pasting side windows and barely started to cut on cars and I had only done a back glass twice (G35 and Jetta). I would take like 4 hours on a car and I would fuck up many times but I always looked at ways to get better, I would always try new ways to improve my quality work (main reason how I found this forum, thank you everyone) I set a goal to what I wanted to be as a window tinter and I haven't looked back. 5 years later I can say IF I want I can do a regular car or crossover in about 45 minutes, the regular for me is 1 hour and 30 minutes. I can do about any car now and not worry about how I'm going to do it or any doubts, except really old purple removals. Just hang in there and always try to do a excellent job because your work speaks a lot about you. I'm happy to say that I still have many returning costumers from my first year of window tint. 

Use Walmarts brand of baby shampoo it's equate.....and you just have to rinse your bottles out constantly and I started mixing baby shampoo and tint slime and a little bit of alcohol.....love it

Once....but then I realized warehouse work is 1/3 of tint pay....
