Until the point I know I’m not making any money off it 😂😂 I’ve slowed myself down on booking so not having the extra pressure of that has definitely  helped, if I messed one window up or it didn’t look right it never failed the rest of the day was like that. I’ve noticed a big change, some cars I wouldn’t even do cause I knew it was tough but now I’ve been doing them an everything’s been easier

Sorry for my bitterness in my last post!  No hard feelings really!
but where he’s overcharged is the fact of the materials used an the time, I myself an my workers have done plenty of high end cars like this one. But like you said we need a full picture of the car an a better picture inside to really see if it’s a true Lamborghini or not! With them pictures it could be anything and he just ain’t happy an said it was a high end car!
The side note of my shop we charge a flat rate on 99% of vehicles, the other 1% being the two an only vw bugs an the great vette back glass, we do charge an extra $100 for them, my 6 employees and me can get them done in one shot or maybe it take us 3,4,5 shots. It just depends on the day. I’ve had one call me that’s   tried a bug three times an wanted help an I got it done in one try, also it’s been the other way around I’ve had a bug and vette that’s gave me so much trouble I passed it to someone else an they got it first try.
Moral of my story is, let’s see more pictures (which I doubt the OP will ever come back)
and we can go from there!

Totally agree... there needs to be *some* justification for whatever price is charged. But.. that is such a wide range of things....  And if you are going to charge that much, you dang well better honor that job if there are issues that need to be addressed afterwards.

Yeah just cause it's a high dollar car doesn't give a right to price gouge imo.... some cars are harder and I've tried to let a customer know up front but 1300 that stuff better block more than just heat

I've been on the HP and Ceramic exclusively for the last few years. I used to keep it as a brand option while carrying the majors, which had wider recognition. For my customers today, the only brand I'm pushing is myself.

The Global products seem to have a tougher scratch coating, more silicone in the release liner and aren't pulled tincil tight during manufacturing so it shrinks like butter and doesn't curl anywhere near as much when handling.

Get a light box on your counter and the brand discussions mostly stop. When you can demonstrate performance all they want to know is how soon they can schedule.

Get it removed, trash the material since it is not reusable, and have a professional reinstall.

Totally forgot to add the random guy walking in! How could I?!? 😂😂 I do a lot of house calls, 25% shop work 75% house calls to give you an idea, an it never fails, the older gentleman with a nice corvette standing Right behind you watching or reaching up to help hold the film. I’m a very patient person but some have tested my nerves 😂

I've been using global HP for almost 14 years.  Never seen any issue. In fact I had a vehicle back to get a broken window tinted and the other windows were perfect. No color change or fade on HP 05. A delivery vehicle that is in the sun all the time. It was 13 year old tint!

I got a couple coming tomorrow I’ll try an take some pictures, but by the way how do I get my screen off this black background setting? I’ve fiddled around an can’t figure it out? I don’t mind it but when I click off here I get blasted with my white browser screen an I almost go blind 😂😂

Good lord almighty!! It feels GREAT to be back here! It’s been an insane 2 years, with the world an business it’s been crazy crazy. Just wanted to say hello to everyone I’ve missed! I’ve personally cut back on tinting/detailing/ppf, the whole nine yards! Time for some family time!  And of course getting back here to help anyway I can!

The usual issue(s) are, the phone is ringing, the wife is pissed, materials delayed the clock is ticking and some jackwagon just walked in the front door to waste your time talking about his crappy used 3series....all while you're trying to turn out good work on nice car...did I mention that it's also hot as hell outside?  Yeah, some days are definitely like that.

For me it all really depends on the vehicle, some most people for me what the strip right at the bottom of the mirror, a few want it lower an a few less want it the same size as the factory “blue” strip that’s already up there. I’d say 8-10 inches is pretty standard for me
