Morning everybody 

Well, I don't feel like such a failure now.
 
Got some of the wiring and fuel lines on the motor. I think it looks pretty good for my first attempt at wiring one.
 
 

Looks great Jimmy, hopefully you'll get some referrals from it. 
 
Did some more work on the Olds, finished all the metal tape for the chrome and gave it a few coats of clear. Don't know why but the red leaked a bit onto the metal tape, should be able to clean that up later.

Me either. Used to be really into it as a kid. I think it helped me later in life with dexterity and attention to detail.
 
I have a couple hours to myself at night (I don't sleep as much as they do) and I used to waste a lot of time on youtube and such. Figured I'd get a hobby or something instead. The only thing that sucks is my vision isn't what it used to be so I'm using some coke bottle thick readers.  

I used to pretty regularly, still have all my stuff and probably two dozen unassembled kits but haven't put one together in years

Here it is guys. This is why i have been busy and not able to post lately. Let me know what you guys think. Who all came to SEMA this year? I tinted a TANK today in SolarFX ultra 30 😂

If it were me I would be looking at going bright white on the walls and ceiling as opposed to black. In my opinion and experience your work area can never be too bright.
