You bet we went there. That's how they know the moon is slowly getting farther away from the earth. Because when we went there we put a reflector there and everyday we point a light at it and see how long it takes to get back. (When I say moving away, I mean something like an inch or a foot a year).

this is right. There is a building at goddard space center that houses a laser used to measure the distance. Saw it one morning being fired off about 10 years ago , while retinting 2 buildings over there.

ok, I just watched that video from start to finish and found it chilling....till the outtakes at the end! so its a joke?? Im kinda confused here...

I remember a comment long ago..it had something to do with a shadow being cast off from one of the astronauts and the angle of it from the sun would have been impossible if it had been real
