You only need a tint cut program if you're doing a lot of the same type of vehicle at once.

Otherwise it's a waste of time IMO.....

Real tinters know how to cut by hand.... :eyebrows

:twocents We have tint-tec here ,but unless I have 10 cars to do and some one to run the computer,I hand cut every thing.I've yet to see a program that cuts as clean a pattern as I do,and with double cutting it is not much faster....

I must say that there is a totaly different way of preping the tint when done by computer. as far as the people saying that hand cutting is faster I say " it depends on how your shop is set up" people set there shops up to deal with what they have. my shop is set up for cutting on a computer, so all prep gets done on a glass wall. besides shrinking of a back glass- no knife

I personaly rather a customer see me on a wall weeding patterns- than to see me unrolling a box of film down the side of there car, or even having a razor blade even close to my car. more or less a razor in a haks hand.

computer cut . It has graet templates and you can do lettering on it. Very easy to use. :thumb

Except for the 170 bux a month they whack you one the.... for their software. I use them and love'em but c'mon 170 bux a month times a thousand cc dealers. Do they really need to make that much profit? I put them up with exxon and the other oil pimps

Is it that much ? I pay alot less but I been with them since the beginning

Real tinters know how to cut by hand.... :dunno

I would say you only need a plotter if you do over 5 cars per day and a couple of employees .
