Dirty film

Recommended Posts

Everytime no matter what I do, I always have dirt spots where I grab the film to install it. I have tried cleaning my fingers before grabbing it, tried grabbing it with my nails. I always end of with dirt on the two spots where I grab it for roll up windows..

Any ideas?

Is this on roll ups? I reverse roll so this doesnt happen on back windows and ports. For roll ups I do a slide, and grab the tint off the peeler without touching the adhesive side. Takes a while to get used to, you'll drop a few pieces at 1st but the installs get so clean from never touching the glue side.

learn to do like 5-0 said and never touch the adhesive side.....that is the way I was taught. I only touch the edges once in a great while when the film is curling or if it is a tight slide in 1/4 window.
