just did one yesterday, the back glass was a pain in the ass! got it on the fourth try. I shrunk the bottom and left the finger bubble on top! working from bottom to top worked the best for me.

Few pic's from a new Rabbit/GTI back window....I use a combo of Lift and pull for the bottoms, and burning the sides to a crisp to shrink out the excess .... :dunno The tops are easy...just shrink up and out towards the sides.

Nice job man, looks like it would have been a PITA without the pull. :lol

Just leaving that little film "handle" on the bottom makes this back glass so much easier. I didn't used to burn the sides, but I read on here someone that did that. Makes it even easier yet! :shoot1

Im on my second Rabbit, with the same windows.. great car for my business, tons of room for a little car. Fit a little giant skyscraper inside with the front seat folded down.

The edge by the mirror should be overcut alot so that you can aviod cutting anything short. I use scissors to cut that edge about 1/2" in.
