Been in the business 20 years and find the guys that brag they make so much money made good money 2 years out of the last 10 and are hunting for that easy money again . Meanwhile they dont own a house and has worked at 10 tint shops in the past 5 years. they come by my shop every winter . My main guy makes 650 week 52 weeks a year 40hrs/week owns a house . I am sure he does a couple hundred on side jobs. Not bad money for no stress .

What percentage of the total job are shop owners paying to their top installers? 10%? 20%? 30%? I mean if you really look at the numbers an installer getting paid 35% of the total job is taking home about 50% of the profits by the time the shop owner pays for the film and pays the bills.
