Recommended Posts

Not a lot of tint yesterday but I did put this new DVD player in.ECB1002A.jpg

I really cant say it was hard but it wasn't fun. I have to replace the center screen soon too, its toast. They weren't sure if any of it was going to work.

Got to be dying for some business today......

2008 GMC Yukon casket wagon

post-10692-0-00580600-1354919687_thumb.j

then had a roll down pair on a 2007 Tahoe and,

lastly did a 1977 GMC Standard cab, 4 piece slider, roll downs, and vent glasses. Pretty fresh paint so not put together. No hardware on the vents and no door panels at all....slider was aftermarket and all framed. Just slapped the tint and cut it on the glass.

Meant to post here last week but too dang busy. So...

Last thursday was up in the mountains with some enerlogic. Hard to get good after pics due to the porch and the immediate drop-off down the mountain heh.

Friday/Saturday was this. GE training facility. Middle panes are 108"x60" 1/2" double pane (1" thick). No room for scaffolding so up on the walkboard we went. Finished up the frost white Saturday and will be going back this coming friday to install the deco blue layer. Going for an effect look.

This is going on Friday. Weather has been very cool so we gave it a little cure time to work with just to be safe.

These guys get to play with an 80" aquos. They put on a movie while they were there and wow does it have a nice picture. Look at the size compared to the handler hah.

Today was a day filled with Glacier. This is just one entry way out of 3. all 3 are identical so you get the idea. Silicone on half the glass, door push handles all had to be removed fun fun. Had to leave a couple reveals due to the framing and gaskets but it came out nice. forgot to take pics of the "Emergency Exit" signs. Every door had to get one of those too hah. Just when you think you are done the mngr comes over and asks if you mind putting these on. Why sure how many? 24?@!@!

That's awesome!, would love to work outside on a river like that for the day.

I have not been this slow since December of 2008. If my calculations are correct that was right before the %&$# hit the fan...

Maybe it's just me though.

Workin off a barge...nope can't say I've tried that hah. Looked like fun.

and here is the finished product from last week. Deco blue over frost. Came out exactly as planned I love it when that works. The frost toned down the blue giving it a sky effect. My phone pics it up as a deeper blue but in reality it is a softer light blue. Again these panes are about 9 feet tall and nearly 5 feet wide and if you have ever worked with deco film...double that pita due to layering it on frost. Talk about a delicate grip!
