Just curious...Price increases this year?

I wanted to see how many out there have seen a price increase for this year from your manny/dist, and if you have, do you see it every year?  

 

How much of an increase psf have you seen?

I'm more curious how many increase their retail prices .... Or does everyone just absorb manny hikes in material and inflation ??

Difficult to say, but Im sure there could be an average.  We have a lot of "trunk slammers" in our area, and have kept our prices about the same in the last 5 years.  I understand prices will go up due to the raw material needed to make the film.

I'd say that if we think times are competitive retail wise, then that's nothing compared to the wholesale fight going on behind the scenes...Australia that is.

TJ, our commercial prices have gone up about .50/.80 PSF My resi has more than doubled. If I'm going to deal with a homeowner, I'm going to get paid for it. Deco has remained about the same $ for us. And we went up 20% on our minimum service charge.

Saw a slight increase from all the mannys we buy from, matter of a few dollars per roll. I haven't really raised "retail price" but so far this year I am holding to the higher end on most of my pricing.

My retail prices went up first of the year. It only run off the chit box cars that I can tell. People with newer cars don't seem to mind spending a few extra dollars to get a quality job at all.

Good point.

 

Film costs more in the past 5 years but that does not really translate to proportionally higher retail prices for tinting.
