cleaning the side windows

Recommended Posts

I razor blade and have never had issues with scratching glass. I know some only use the razor blades for the stickers because they are afraid of scratching glass. Sometimes I'll use a scrub pad for the top of the roll ups. Especially if the owner is a smoker.

Just wondering... When installers are complaining about scratching the glass are they scraping the glass using a blade holder or bare fingers? I've always used my fingers to hold the blade and have never had a problem.

Exactly, I think you may be onto something. I use my fingers and never an issue. While talking with another installer he had scratched a window but he was using a holder.

I never blade or scrub. I just wipe it down and slap it on as fast as possible.

it will eventually dry and look awesome.

:lol:facepalm2

If i did $99 tint jobs. The fine print would read: cleaning is extra, no redos, no comebacks, tailight warranty included and please dont call about "bubbles".
