tint slime

Has anyone use tint slime on flat glass installs? I use it for auto was seeing if its a good idea to use it or to not use it on residential flat glass.

It's all I use in general. Just use less for flat

Personally I use it for flat only. I find that it doesn't have enough slip for auto.

Use it all day long.  Used it on security, decorative, residential, auto, graphics, ppf, etc...

Thanks A316 . Have you used it on v cool film by chance? If you used that film you got any pointers for installing it?

I use it for everything as well. I use a ton of it for auto as it doesn't provide as much slip as j&j.

J&J contains higher levels of glycerin compared to Tint Slime and Film On and is why it provides more slip, all three are virtually identical in their chemistry though.

Except that the latter 2 do not have fragrance and numbing agents in them...

I thought tint slime had fragrance? Apples or something like that?


My thought was correct I never actually used it but have been thinking about it and I could swore read apple something.  . . from there websiste

It definately contains a dye (it's green!) And a fragrance. However, it doesn't leave deposits in my sprayers. Buy some, you'll like it.
