Who's paying for 90%? Front and rear doors

We actually sell 90% 3M Crystalline all the time...we are on our 3rd roll in 5 months. Comparing NC and VA because they check tint in inspection which is the ONLY change they proposing in NY. The 70% law has been the law for a long time in NY.

The rear doorglass have to be 70% on passenger cars also,,only seen a couple tickets written for them last 20yrs

I have been warning people about the inspection thing/was in the news 6 months ago

Va used to not check tint during inspection. Not sure sure if it's changed now. Nc does check and are strict lol... it's a pain but at least there's alot of two front jobs on trucks

Get paid... With good tint, and make the other guy/custy jump through hoops every year.

This really does suck. Most customers up here will not purchase extremely light tint, like 90%. They aren't going to see the benefits for more than a few days of the year.

This new legislation is not a change in the "Tint law". It's simple enforcing the existing law on the books, which is 70% min light transmission. The article is mistaken. People are uninformed regarding Tint shading percentages. Ie 70% min transfer means 30% window Tint. It's unfortunately just not true.

Any film added to the factory 70% will fail under the current system and now it will be part of the nys inspection.
