So the socket for my headlight basically fell apart...(where the bulb goes)  and the store didn't have any in stock, not to mention the ones on my truck are an aftermarket model which according to the manu's website they don't seem to make them anymore... so I'd need to replace both of them.

 

Anyway... This is what I came up with. Hopefully will hold.. :dteeth

 

 

(And no, I'm not really MacGyver... but I do like the show. :lol2 )

Just went out for a drive... really nice sunny mild day. First time in a while... anyway... drove around town for like 45 min. It's holding.

 

Not sure how long it will stay - might have to check every now and then until the new headlights come in. 

 

My other thought was playdough... which will harden, but I thought that might be a disadvantage since it might then just crack off. :dunno

 

Silly putty seemed... doable. lol
