Customer calls I already bought the tint???

Don't you hate it when the customer calls and says and I already bought the  tint i went to do a camper trailer and the Tint was thinner than Saran Wrap makes tinting hard and glue coat sucked trying to cheap out sucks...any stories tinters???

We get asked about it every now a then, but a simple solution...let them know you only use the film you carry since you can guarantee the quality.

I told them we only install the film we carry and they got online and gave me a 1 star google review...

When they ask how much to install film they bough for their car, I tell them 250. Then they ask how much to you mine, I say 250 but mine comes with a warranty. In all my years they have always went with mine.

I usually don't do it but it was good friend but cheap film sucks purple rite off the roll did the sides didn't go back to finish when you get used to your film you don't want to use any other brand thanks for replys guys Have a great week!!!

I learned my lesson. Done this a few times before and I always hated the film. Was cheap, flimsy and difficult to work with. I won't use other peoples film anymore.

 

But they last time someone came in, they brought two different DIY rolls. One was a real roll of film, the other was the static cling type that you can take off and repostition. I tried to explain to the customer not to use it, They were a bit aggressive and insisted that I did. I said screw it and did what they wanted lol.

One thing I have learned over the years, you have to be okay with people walking out the door.  Can't please everyone, so why try to?
