Finally mastered shaving framless roll ups !

I finally mastered shaving side roll ups I heat with the heat gun let it sit then go back and heat it again  then  shave with the one inch stainless steel blade hope this helps someone trying to learn.... it's all about getting the right angle with the blade and make sure the blade is new on every window

I use carbon blade and surf the edge. It works for me. I havent seen anyone use a carbon blade to shave them though.

Same here, I have one knife with a thin carbon blade just for top cut.

Hey guys, I’ve played with this for years, only use for special customers with elite cars. Use stainless blades and stainless file sets. My question is when do u justify the extra time and work and what’s your up charge?

Learned from @flat rock stan he gave me a video of it. But i like sharp knifes. Others like em dull as hell.

Not really. I push really hard and the blade bends as i do it.
