I got Johnson "top of the line" ceramic tint 7 days ago.

I got the tint at a very popular and reputable shop in So Cal.

I have flame marks coming from the bottom of the glass on all 4 doors.

40% in front, 30% in back.

So I don't think this is a film defect.

Why do I have these patterns?

I have never seen anything like it. :lol I'll keep up on this because now I'm curious. Looks like it has to do with the shrink method used on the film. Just have never seen THAT many or type and after the fact seven days later. ??????? :lol2 ??????????

It is called ghosting.

The film is heated too high and left those marks. You have the same problem with all metal films as well.

Take it back and have them redo it. Those marks will not go away.

one more question.

Do you HAVE TO heat shrink the bottom of the window?

Can't they apply the tint at the bottom without the heat?
