I run a humidifer and in drier conditions wet the floor down. The key is to reduce static.

Gonna have fun today installing CTX and Air 80 on this one today.

Sounds lik the kind of removal job that makes ya want to scream, through crap and want to shut the doors and quit for good. I really have no good advice for you.....I can count on one hand the rear glass removal jobs like that that totally slayed me. Maybe tell the customer what you have discovered about it and explain you will have to scrape the entire glass thereby removing the defroster in order to get it tinted.

Hey guys!! Im home from vacation relaxed and NOT ready to go back to work. 😅

I started using Wincos 10 years ago and now I use a lot of CTX since switching to LLumar as my main Company. Madico kept me hanging with issues, film failures, and their scratch coat began to scratch easily so I made a switch. I had used Madico for almost 30 years and make me feel that a women in tint business isnt worth their time. 

Been doing that for years. Glad you figured it out though by thinking and continuing to think outside the box.

He means the films factory straight edge as it comes off the roll. You can only shrink the film vertically, not horizontally. LLumar is a thicker film and is indeed a bit more difficult to shrink. Especially so in the CTX series films when one isnt proficient at heat shrinking film yet. Practice, practice....practice.
