I did mine when I was heating a side crease when I still half peeled.
May I suggest you try harder NOT to crease the film so ya dont melt the plastic?
-
May I suggest you guys shrink it/snap it on your pealer board instead of shrinking the film to the glass? Just saying...

Hello guys , I am a new tinter from south California that I just start to my business. I have no tint licence yet and I don't sure which brand of film is better for me.My price is 100-150$ one car, II do not need too many functions of the film , as long as good to work , the price is cheap, because I'm not skilled enough and I need a film that will shrink better.Could you recommend several film to me and give the detail. The most important thing is where can I buy it because I don't have a license and company ye
Solar FX film is easy to shrink and matches some factory tint well.

I was having problems with tint slime and Dawn eating up my glue and I spoke to a tinter on YouTube he told me about this stuff and it worked great
I have used dawn for over thirty years and have tint jobs that have lasted 25 years that I know of.

best stuff ever
So it wont degrade the glue? Ive wondered about this myself as I want to limit my chemical exposures further as I have issues am constantly having to detox my liver of all I expose myself to on a daily bases when tinting.

I save them and use them to sword fight customers or other people that happen to randomly walk by on the street.

Heh.. just got a call from a person that I tinted her house back in '08.. she moved and wants me to tint her windows in the new place.
I'm always impressed when people keep my info (or any contractors info) for such long periods of time. Esp. after a move... when you'd think people would try and throw away as much stuff as they can so as to not haul it to their next home.
Cou t your blessings @Roach! I have 30 plus year customers that waited for me to reopen and at present I am booked up until the last week of OCTOBER. Job security...just saying.

Using that Aircraft stuff on the defrosters will slowly soften and degrade them (and also the rubber and adhesive holding the glass in. It takes paint off of cars i can't see how those defrosters would be any match for it. I almost feel like this is a bad prank video. In my opinion this video is horrible advice, my kid has major health issues and i would f'n lose it on the dude that used these respiratory incapacitating and cancer causing chemicals in my enclosed car right where my kid sits. This video is flat out stupid advice, there are plenty of non-deadly adhesive removal choices out there, you don't need to risk peoples health or damage a vehicle.
And I thought my lawyer/judge husband had no filters!
