I suspect this:
I find it interesting that there is no pricing info for this software , service contract, licensing agreement or subscription business model.
No screenshots or how to vids to be found.
No "trial " version so someone can have a look to see if it really suits them.

The air is THICK round here
And so are some of the people up here.
The one way job is on hold until someone can sort out moving the PCs and the desks PRIOR to our arrival .
Thanks for letting us add on charges for the dead visit

I think part of the problem is the world "greening " up using water based adhesives instead of the good old toxic ones that worked.
I see it sometimes in fresh carpet installs below a fresh film install that the carpet lifts if it was trimmed at the glass instead of putting carpet down and the glass channels later.

Guys go to a secure area to remove old film and replace with one way mirror film.
Desks with PCs full of private info right up against the glass.
The installers remind GC that we need full clear access to the glass to install the film . It says that right on the quote!!!
NOBODY wants to sign off that we won't be held liable or move the damn desks!
"Just stand on the desks and do what you have to do " UMMMM NOOOOOO.

You did not say what material you are using. Use something 48" wide and rock on.
Mark your horizontal "cheat" lines by either opposite surface level marks using water soluble markers or same surface vertical 3 or 4" strips of masking tape spaced about every 2 or 3 feet apart and cut level at your desired height.
Then just butt up your factory edge to either marking system and trim at seams.
Be sure film is "cooked" enough to drag your knife at the bevel edge without lifting . Just like "shaving " a top edge in a vehicle only easier.
Often I'd use a helper and strip and flip multiple panes at a time. Then go for

I'd politely ask them to come back with the car cleaned and vacuumed so I could do my job to the quality level they expect. If pushed ,encourage that you have the right to refuse to work under unsafe working conditions..
ORRRR Its a $499.00 charge to clean the car...... then get it to your detailer friend.

Laws re ins are different all over.
Do your due diligence for your area.
Here you must have Commercial insurance coverage for $10,000,000 or you do not get the contract .
I heard of an incident last year.
GARBAGE MDF /compressed sawdust /paper with wood veneer doors got wet when film was installed on 8 doors . They swelled bad.
I heard the doors were $1200.00 each.
When we went in to fix the previous work we told the GC to pull the glass before film work begins or we would have them sign off on installing in place to move them to holding all the responsibility cards.

If it were the film ALL the glass would be broken.......

i saw a competitors flat glass hand cut stripe work like that once.
I think they went old school and used a stick for a level and an axe to cut it.
