Some of you may have noticed that with few choices a custy makes a quick decision and given large number of options it takes FOREVER or confuses custy.
Study says too much choice hurts sales.

U need special holder for 30 degree blades????
Olfa makes a handle for it . Not using it is asking for unexpected shrapnel when the blade snaps . It does say on EVERY package to wear eye protection.
As mom used to say " If you poke your eye out don't come looking for me"

Gonna go out on a limb and say he uses them:
For what: for cutting film
And why....Cuz they be really sharp.
Pointy end gets in farther than an olfa style blade.
They also come in handy when removing stitches form previous misuse of sharp stuff.
Try this version of the olfa. Its a 30° blade . You cannot see in the photo but the knife is pointed like the blade to reinforce while cutting just like the 45° is.
Olfa calls them Graphic blades. I DO NOT recommend using them in the 45° knife

Looks like things are the same here in Canada Tom . We also have recognized that certain GC's ALWAYS want a price then never give you work." So and So was cheaper" is always the reply.
Maybe So and So should get their own estimator......
As for OP .
Leg work. LOTS of leg work
Get into the local construction associations and find out who the local GC's are. As Tom said . Make appointments to get on their bidders list.
When you get an opportunity to quote and win jobs bust @$$ to make yourself known as the guy that gets things done on time or better ahead of schedule.
If you Eff up something . Own up immediately and rectify it at a loss if you have to . Earn the GC's trust .

No one gave an "F"
Cathay Pacific boss : Where's the "F" in Pacific ? Maintenance Crew Chief : It's between the west coast of the USA and China. Thought you'd know that.

Price what the market will bear as related to your quality of workmanship and the clientele you want to see through your doors.
Start low you will see a ton of hoopties . A client you WANT to see in your shop will keep going when they see '85 K Kars lined up at your roll up..
Its not unheard of to rent a high end car or 2 to get the idea across.

I just noticed the Tintwiz ad here on TD.
https://tintwiz.com/
Is anyone making use of it ?
What are your thoughts ?
With the demise of Tintventory I'm wondering if it also helps track your stock.
I did not see any Inventory related tasks in their site.
