  1. We are Super dealers.for flat glass. I have HO on our Sprinter van...it was hard enough for me with 35 years + hanging film to do those. The film is rigid and not that easy to manipulate. ...And it took my door windows about a month to dry as I did them mid winter.
  2. We have a couple more weeks of burning season up here. ... so my free time will be spent cleaning up our property.
  3. If someone writes on it with a sharpie, and it gets direct sun ( heat ) exposure.. it’s not a good thing. Expo markers are always the preferred writing tool. And that type of marker can stay on it for months and months with no shadowing
  4. Send me your address and I’ll get a sample out to you.
  5. I posted this in the wrong thread earlier. But it's a 18' DFD Dry Erase white board. Job was about 250 lineal feet total of the same film.
  6. We don't need you to test it, We have professional engineers and chemists that have real qualifications who have done it already, As well as professional Window Film installers in the marketplace who have extensively field tested it over the past 18 months. It's a Vinyl. Same as 3M DC and whatever led credits that would apply to that, will apply to ours..which is few if any. Warranty will be in line with all other comparable products commercially available, Optical performance.....did you just pull that phrase out of you but hole ? ..Or are you asking about VLT ,VLR, TSER etc. Also, you and the company you work for are restricted from access to our products. Forrest will be notified shortly.
  7. Yes ignoramus really. ..Once again you have diarrhea of the mouth. DFD DC is not Correct Spec. It’s a New material we have been developing for the past two years. ..The less you say, the smarter people will think you are..
  8. Without question they already have formulas that they produce. I would suspect being corporate as thy are, they will fleece you to R&D your own build. I would budget 25K per sku for a dyed type auto film for R&D as well as MOQ
  9. It depends on how many varieties you are thinking about carrying. There will be a MOQ on each sku.
  10. Depending on your pocketbook, you could do as many of the off brand distributors do and have Eastman or Garware provide you white box film.
  11. Pretty ignorant of you seeing as how you have not ever touched a piece of DFD D/C , therefore have zero credibility to base your statement on.
  12. Someone definitely limp waisted that install. FWIW we use Madico's slip, and some IPA mixed with our water. ..Those bubbles in your pics....never going to dry.
  13. Hey ding dong..3M had LE35..#garbage..what I said was that 3M knocked off VEP70 ..70% VLT ..not the garbage 40 year old 35 they have been schlepping for decades. ..Please read before posting..it will help you save face. And I checked, the company you work for is not authorized to sell or install DFD films, 100% the material you are installing... is not DFD. If it was, I would know. We are extremely selective who we allow access to these products, we have numerous national accounts that utilize them and we steer those projects to our preferred dealers in those areas. When we launched a few years back, we sent more sample tubes than I can count to potential dealers. Some made the cut, many did not.
  14. Let me help Mike here and maybe he will learn something. Enerlogic VEP 70 was the first ultra LowE, high VLT film on the market with Emisevity in the .07 ish area. A few years later Ecolux came along and then after another couple years 3M joined the parade after they finally got one of their film to actually dry. Now these films, roughly speaking ,have a TSER in the 55-65% range, and emissivity of .07 +/-. ..and cost aprox 7.00 psf for material alone. Eastman figured out that based on a ROi stand point, it was a dud. There are numerous other options for a 70% vlt film with 50-60 % TSER that can be bought in the sub 2.50 area. This means that the low e film needs to save 4.50 psf on heat retention alone to make it pay for itself..and it never will. So yes, 3M got in the game last with their 70% lowE film after reverse engineering both VEP and ELux.
  15. Obviously you are ignorant to the fact that you are not buying film from DFD. You are buying from a different entity. I told Mike early on that we would not certify or authorize the company you work for to sell or install DFD products. Why did we do that ? Because not all business is good business. And I just don’t want or need yours. Feel free to discuss whatever you would like here or any other forum, as I said, you are not buying DFD product.
  16. That is horrible instillation quality. ..I have said here before...for the life of me I can't see why anyone would put PPf on their car. There is simply no ROI on it ...ever.
  17. CC75 is 3Ms knock off of Enerlogic 70 and Solar Gard Ecolux
  18. I told Mike early on not to work with you, I think we will re visit that discussion. Knowing how whiny you were, I had thought it best to avoid doing business with the company you work for.. it may behoove you to tell Forrest to look for another printer going forward.
  19. What I meant was the 3M distributors were crying that they were losing a profit channel to DF.. not the dealers. Garden variety is Milano, segano, Oslo, Schute, cloud, etc, just to name a few. ..there are several more. The film you received in replacement for the film with drop out on it was printed vertically on 60” media due to continued manufacturing issues with 72”. I can’t imagine you had any issue with what was sent.
  20. We haven’t bought from DF in more than a year. as far as “whose Is better” . You have your own blind opinions, ..drowning in KoolAde. .. we have use virtually every Fasara film in the portfolio, some are nice, others are garden variety garbage. ..
  21. ..Well....3M played DF for a sucker. They had DF build the product line, market the crap out of it, create awareness and demand..Then all the 3M distributors cried about losing the largest profit margin items they have. Without question it was a giant blow to DF, ... Early on DF was eating 3Ms lunch ...so much so that they gave them the Fasara line to sell. IMO..it was a complete sleep bag thing that 3M did...but I wouldn't expect anything less from them.
  22. "Correct Spec" is no longer producing DC/FC..it's Deco Film Depot or bust.
  23. ...About 1k SF of DFD Dusted Crystal in 3 new clean rooms
