Ive done a few of them. I hold the pattern from the top and let it kind of roll into a taco. Ill tint the rest of the car before I squeegee those out.

Average heat reduction is around 55%

Probably going to have to replace the amp. Same thing happened to me, so I started a thread in the BMW section to warn others. That amp with installation will run around $2200

Did you half peel any of it?
yep whole car. The covers on the door locks look just like the new X5, but I couldnt get them out and really didnt want to break the first one lol

oh and there are a ton of wires and an amp on the right side of the trunk. The towels I stuffed in there came out dry, but I will always continue to make sure they are covered JIC

OK..The back glass is definitely a bit of a challenge! Defrosters felt a tad thick, so I used steel wool just to be safe. I ended up deciding to install using reverse roll. Back seat is just silly and pointless, so I dropped the seats and laid down with my legs in the trunk. After I had most of the liner peeled back, install was actually not bad at all. Front seals dont tuck, but also arent very tight. Overall Id say this car wasnt that bad at all. If I had to choose between this or maybe a Benz S coupe, Id take the 8 series all day

Putting that plastic back over the top of the gasket is a PITA!!
