We have all customers (retail and service) sign our receipts which covers refunds, possible damage to the vehicle or them from using any of our products and/or services, etc.  We also cover the possible damage to rear window during removal when talking to the customer.  However if it is anything we damage, we will replace it.

I tint and detail. I can tell you that detailing is way more labor for less money. If you decide to go at it on your own there is more equipment involved with doing it than with tinting and PDR. I don't do PDR but from what I know (I looked into it myself) there is a huge learning curve and you need patience (like in tinting). But really, go with your gut and do something you will love.

Buy yourself the proper clamping tool with the braces, and create works of art when making your hose attachments.

This gasket shield of my set is 28in long and just fit a big caddy door and makes it very nice to slide the film in and keeps the whole felty/dirty seals away to keep the bottom edge clean and the lower seal stays dry so water wont make a finger and i dont use the heatgun on very many doorglass other than a occasional side crease(rushing to fast?) to iron out from the inside

I dont really like the 1/2 ones and have to slide them across to feed the film because you could scratch the top of the door panel on some auto and or maybe rip the film

They make almost any honda/subaru/nissan/toyota(loose seals)and most US cars a breeze for bottom loading and no panel of seal removal

Did that guy in the middle video just bottom drop with the seal in???? I only bottom drop on cars that I can't get consistantly good installs on half n halfing and if the seals pull easily. I find That it takes me longer to fool with the seals than to just half and half on easy cars like nissans and Kia/Hyundai Unless it's an avenger or Lexus LS. Then I am forced to pull panels. So far those are the only two I've had to rip shit apart to get a great install on

Sometimes but I scrub the crap out of all windows then use a clay bar....unless it's the charger then I steel wool then clay bar....then scrub
And right before installing I turn on the car and the rear defrosters and install but you have to be somewhat quick because it tacks fast

I use a 25ft extension cord most of the time. I also carry a 100ft extension cord just in case. So that gives me 125ft to work with if need be. I'v had to use the 100 footer maybe three times.
I also have a torch, works great if I dont feel like messing around with the cord.

Most times you get what you pay for, kinda like tinting. Less expensive gen don't put out the rated watts. The Honda I use rocks a 1500 watt gun long as you want to use it.
A friend has a 2000w Ryobi from Home Depot that works good, $400 I believe. You'll be wasting money on anything cheaper like Chinese Harbor Freight Generators.

Also, they sell dc invertors that hook up to your vehicle, some plug into car lighters but for a heat gun I'd want one that clamps to the car battery while It a running.

There are cheap chinese generaters for a few hundred but that little honda is very quiet compared to about any of them

If somebody doesnt have power or a decent garage? No mobile auto tinting from me

$1200 I think, you dont really need the i just get the 2000. I think their 6 to 800$. It starts first pull every time and very very quite. Use airplane fuel 100ll for years and years of trouble free operation. you can get it at ur local airport. I run it in all my yard tools.
