I have used Scorpion for many years. I use the King Pro series and love it. I have used all their lines. Won't find a better group of people and a better support staff anywhere.

I have used almost every line of film they have... each have pros and cons. Have used a ton of the predator line... problem is it’s a gen 3 dyed film, have used the venom lineup... didn’t really care for it too well, also have used a lot of the shield is ok but adhesive isn’t too aggressive and gets bad curl so not too plotter friendly. The new sting series I’m still not sure about that film yet shrinking seems to be different, don’t really know how to describe it... haven’t had any real issues with their films but I am not in a hot state

SolarFX IRFX has a 45% coming out soon.

Madico charcool works pretty good for most guys as far as price goes. Shrinks well. Ok clarity. SolarFX IRFX has best bang for your buck. But it's only offered to a 38 at the moment. And is too dark for a lot of customers. The rejector series comes in a 70% and performs well but does have minor hazing issues... gotta take the good with the bad unless you want to spend $$$ on high end films like crystalline or huper Ceramic. Both of which suck to install if you aren't familiar with em.

Hello civicrice, it is well known that Asian companies do not have the ability to deep dye window films. They either, mounting adhesive dye, chip dye, or dye/carbonize there films in the lamination adhesives. None of these techniques have been proven to outlast the deep dye technologies of 4th gen deep dyed films.  
Dynamic is correct that almost all of these “Carbon” films use a dye to add color and make darker their films. How much “Carbon” is actually in the film? What type of dye technology are they using? There have been many instances posted on social media where “Carbon” films have turned purple and faded after less than 5 years.
 
At any rate, our 4th gen dyed films are manufactured to the highest quality and are among, if not the, highest quality in the industry.
 
To answer about our IR on our films. Our FXtreme2 films have an IR of 76% up to 88%.
 
The RejectorFX is a lightly aluminized film with minimal IR rejection in the 40’s and not designed as an IR film.

17 Accord in SolarFX IRFX 38. All around with windshield. Tried removing quarters on this one... not bad considering the extra time involved. 

Just did one last week... probably the 5th or 6th. Biggest thing to keep in mind... if you have to heat be very cautious. Other than that clean with scrub pad not razor and charge what it's worth!  Good luck!

I am going to assume it is extremely cheap reboxed film since Scytek alarms are extremely cheap quality.

I always get the nasty quotes through in winter - MK5 golfs or beetles etc 👎🏻

It's gonna hold fragmented glass for the most part in a sheet....  and fall out from my experience. Did the front of a guys home workshop with 8mil. He ended up slinging a rock with the lawn mower and hit a panel. I used to have a pic of it but can't find it... looked like a poorly designed puzzle laying on the floor lol. Sealing it may or may not keep it attached to the window frame.... not too sure about that one

If SolarFX ships to U.K. I suggest to go that route!  Toughest scratch coat I've seen. Takes heat like a champ and shrinks (haven't found anything I cant form it on). Beautiful color in every lineup. And probably the most aggressive adhesive you will find!  @whitehog should be able to help u out!  Best of luck!
