Flex film, pana flex really bad low light haze

Recommended Posts

So I got a sample of panaflex, and Ralph swore that the "nano technology" was haze free. But this haze is worse then any other tint I've used, express and solar fx.. This just doesn't seem right? What do you guys think

Hey Joe...

Where you goin' with that gun your hand?

Sorry... Saturday night here mate...

Yep, that does look pretty hazy...

Are you sure that he said it was haze free?

This is a common problem with ceramic based films....

Hopefully the issue gets solved by one of the manny's.

If only they had a good dye option... But Flex dropped their dye films due to adhesive failure. :dunno

Turns out dye within the polyester can cause glue to fail...

You learn something new everyday...

Just make your customer aware of any low angle haze issue before install. Might cost you a sale, but with gain you the respect of a long term custy. Best just be truthful... Just don't promise that the film is haze free...

Take care Joe...

If that were true there'd be a whole lot of deep dyed film failing by many film names.

Sounds more like adhesive failing because of the type of adhesive used.
