CPFilms, Screwing the pooch?

Recommended Posts

Why don't they include the video with the lady doing the window in 3 min ?

Imagine Tint Terrorist and Chuey manning the phone lines !

All they would need for a cheat sheet which would answer any questions is the thread from the guy who wanted to do his windows himself.

I would love to get the calls asking why it looks so bad !

My answer "You paint your car with spray cans, would you expect it to look as good as if a Professional did it ?"

In addition to pre-cut patterns, Custom Cut also features EZMount Adhesive to help make installation even easier. If you notice an air bubble or imperfection after the film is applied, EZMount allows you to peel the film away from the glass, correct the mistake, and re-apply for up to 24 hours after initial installation. When it's time to replace the film, EZMount also removes cleanly without any special tools, leaving no adhesive residue behind. Consumers with installation questions can contact GILA at ***-***-**** or www.gilafilms.com for 24 hour support.

have I missed something in the window tint world.....whats up with the :peel the film away from the glass, correct the mistake, and re-apply for up to 24 hours

how would that work...not with what I install

Whats wrong with gila and diy-ers? :nope

After all, it is made by the same people who make llumar and formula one, so it must be good right? And it comes in limo and super limo at wallymatinez. :lol6:lol6:nope:nope

I agree with TD on this

but with some exception for the fact that

the people that are bent on installing it themselves

.....wouldn't ever take it to a pro tint shop anyway

I think having a bunch of bad DIY film installs running around

gives the whole industry a black eye

like all the customers asking me "will it bubble up?"

that have seen too many hackk jobs on the street

I don't think the idea mixes well with auto parts stores

those are impulse buyers

and they dont want to wait a week for the mailmang

this will probably go the way of shoreline/madcow pre-cut and bessbuy :nope

unless they corner the ebay market ....I don't think it will fly

but if we stop buying their film

shouldn't we also stop selling MMM for giving away plotters to car dealers

or Madcow for the bessbuy pre-cut gimmick

or SG for all the ebay precut fools

they are all just peddling plastic

and would all sell us out for a bigger buyer opening up right next door

this is a screwed up industry :lol6

just check out the latest filmmag about dealer loyalty :lol6
