Thank you. I have followed this site as a lurker. Its always fun and informative to drop in now and then.

The OP was looking for pics and I had this movie.

I would suggest requiring a mock up window caulked by the the prospective caulking sub contractor. Watch them and see their application and subsequent final product.

Solx , You must have run into someone unaware of GSA specs. If you use the right tools you can get the required 3/4 in. bead perfectly flat and symmetrical . All the gov'mt . jobs I have done ( which are highly scrutinized) were taped and tooled. I have seen the concave jobs you are talking about ... not right.

I'm surprised it was spec'd with 1/2" bead ??? Nice video. :thumb

This job required 1/2" bead. ( 1/4" on glass...1/4" on frame)
