Yellow pages, & other phone books

Years ago I figured that in my area, they (phone book) were a waste of money. So I stopped advertising with them. About once a year I will get a call asking if I want to renew my ad. To which I reply, what ad?

And they always say that they have a contract from the previous year. I ask them to send me a copy, in which one never appears.

I'm wondering if the phone book companies are doing this to others?

But books? What an antiquated way of doing it,

I get statements from what looks like a yellow page bill for a few hundred dollars and a pretty regular basis. I think they are operating on a small amount of businesses with a low voltage secretary who might just pay the imaginary bill

Yellow page books are soooo last week Stopped them years ago but still paying for the last year we ran with the inside cover full color....... bout the time the economy took the dump. Lucky me

It's about time they just die. They've been holding businesses hostage for too many decades and now they are

history. Who would search their "site" to find a listing that any search engine can find?

Let them send a salesman if they can, then tell him in person to Phuck yellow anything and have a nice day.
