Torch to take off old film ?

sweat it...and maybe a little elbow power...or just break out the torch and melt it off. I must be getting old or would love to see that process.

I have an R&R to do tomorrow. What's this about using a torch?? I've only bagged them or steamed it off.

The camaro I did yesterday required my torch.  I sweat it, but only one layer came off.  I removed that layer and sweat it again, and got most of the rest off, then turned to my torch.  I got the rest off with burned fingers and a damaged back glass.  The torch removes the natural "wax" glass has on it.  

 

So, if it were to start raining, you would see where I used the torch.  The issue is solved with some buffing with wax and elbow grease.  Not sure of the longevity however.

Use twice as much tint slime. Bag the backglass.heat with torach.on outside.pretty simple. Works great.

Move it around fast . I use my shribk rap gun.befor I used a roofer tourch can get at harbor freight .
