Triumph 6" blade cover Q.

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if it is possible to just buy the cover for this very dangerous tool?

Everyone of these tools I've had over the years (including my current one) ends up with a broken cover which is a throw away item and leaves the blade exposed.

Any feedback appreciated.

I told my guy if he ever threw the triumph in the tool box uncovered he was fired. He would also have a habit of leaving it sticking up in the hole on top of the step ladders. I fuggin hate that. But to fix cracked covers ( I have a few) I just wrap them with duct tape

I've seen people use an appropriate length of pool noodle with a slit in it.

For those of you that are unfamiliar its a 4' length of extruded foam sold in many bright colours for about $1 or $2 depending on the season.

There are tons of kinds out there . Be sure to choose one with a hole in the center not the "solid " kind.

There is a slightly more expensive way using pipe insulation. It does the same job but is usually brown which would hide in a dark tool bag.

Good idea, brightly colored too. I always thought black was a really bad color choice for the tool itself, especially with such a cheap cover. Those things should be bright orange or something.
