We have had Obrutha care for years here in Mass. It was delivered to us via Mitt Romney when he was our governor. Mainly because he was in bed with the major health carriers here. Harvard Pilgrim Health, Blue Cross and Tuffts. It is the blueprint that BO followed to go national with. My premium for my wife and myself is just over 1300.00 per month. We are both healthy non smokers and nothing pre existing or ongoing meds. ....We get boned.

Now we get to share the pain with the rest of the states. The first year of two, your premiums will be ...not so bad, but then they are going to increase 25/40% a year as subsidy money is allocated elsewhere. ...unless somehow all the illegals, healthy under 20 year olds and just plain deadbeats decide they actually want to pay for health insurance instead of getting it free

I haven't even checked yet... I'm single so it will just be for me... I think its going to be a huge huge mess... But I do like the fact preexisting conditions aren't a problem with it.

My mom has always worked for a doctor and we've talked about this a lot... Aside from the high costs to people its not going to work for the healthcare system in general.

I do think people should have healthcare regardless of who you are. You can not always control your health. The issues I've had were not brought on by any actions that I did... Like so much its just part of being imperfect.

The problem in this country is the high costs associated with healthcare. The whole system is so top heavy.... At some point its going to crash and I Dont think obamacare is going to help at all.

OB care has a couple benefits that will help some people. The pre existing provision is one of them, insurers want to drop you the second you need treatment, it has always been this way. If they can't drop you because you have a term contract, they will jack your premium to the roof when it is up for renewal. Thus making it impossible to get coverage. Insurance HMOs are the worst

Right now I pay $430.00 per month with a $3.000.00 deductible and then after that 100% and I have yet used it, I have not been to the doctor in over 2 years and I had major neck surgery 3 years ago, I am not and never will be 100% back to where I was and I still have a lot of issues from nerve damage that I will never regain back, I go to work every day now and have for 40 hrs per week since I was 16 years old and it pisses me off that some one can come to this country that has never even paid a penny worth of taxes and get FREE health care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

After my neck surgery that had nothing to do with me having an accident or any fault of mine what so ever, I could not get any help what so ever from my State, that's Pucked up !!!!!

      Cracked glass

      The crack indicates thermal stress, however, the edge of the glass may have an imperfection (bur or clam shell chip). The crack does run 90 degrees out from the edge and curves as it follows any weaknesses in the pane itself. I have attached a pictured of what tempered glass looks like when it breaks and alongside it what a plate (or float) and heat-strengthened glass looks like when it breaks. The outer panel my be tempered should indicate so by a stamp etched on the glass surface in one corner. It should indicate tempered. Plate glass has no indicators, however, heat-strengthened glass will crack in the same manner as plate glass. I'm an unsure whether heat-strengthened glass requires a stamp. Tempered glass is 4 times stronger than plate and heat-strengthened is 2 times stronger than plate. 1 in 24 is indicative of edge imperfection. I could not find the solar absorption rate of DN 50, but if it is similar to competitive films, there should be no issue with that installation setting (including a straight line shadow). This, too, points back to edge imperfection as the cause. And finally, I spy drapes in a close position, correct? If so, it would be helpful to crack open during sun exposure; this to assist in allowing trapped heat between the glass and drapes to dissipate.

      Cracked glass

      Hello. I recently installed Johnson Daylight Natural DN 50 on a couple of windows. Solar energy rejection is 39%. The windows are double pane and the glass is supposed to be tempered 4mm + tempered 6mm. The roof overhang shades the top 1/3 - 1/2 of the windows. However, a few days after installation I noticed that one of the glass has cracked, presumably due to thermal stress. Should I remove the film from the rest of the windows? I installed the film on 24 of these windows (6 tiny houses) so now 1 out of 24 is broken. Or is it more likely that I just got unlucky and the glass had a defect? Is shading from the roof overhang such a big factor? The glass cracked. Is it really tempered? I thought tempered glass would shatter, but not crack. Thanks!

      Take a look at 3M's Nightvision or LLumar's Dual Reflective series, they both have a warm tone to them.

      Steer clear of Black Armour, Suntek, ASWF. The others are good choices if you are in Australia. Check out the reviews of the installer too. It’s not just the materials that have to be proper. Never go for the cheapest!!!

      Residential Film without blue hue?

      Hey guys I am in the process of having window film installed in my home but have a question about which brand I should go with. Hoping yall can help me out. I have a room that faces a busy street and as a result my blinds pretty much always stay closed. I love having natural daylight but not so much people being able to see what i'm doing in my room/all my expensive equipment. I used to work in the window film industry as a helper/installer/salesman when I was in highschool and we did a lot residential/commercial work. The specific brand of film we used always left a certain blue and cool appearance. Is there any brand of residential film that does not have this effect? I mainly just cannot stand having blue light amplified and am looking for a film that has a neutral shade to it or even a warm/yellow hue. I have single pane windows and I do not necessarily care about heat rejection but if I have to pay more for a ceramic film rather than a dual reflective or a standard film I am willing to if that helps solve the issue. Again, any help is really appreciated with this there are so many new window film brands out there and it really is cool to see how far the industry has come.

      Automotive Tint Comparison

      LLumar, 3M and Solargard have in the industry as far back as the genesis of window film mid-1960's). Solargard is the younger of the three and all others came to play in the last 20 or so years. I've had all three on my vehicles over the years and my current is 3M Crystalline on my Jeep since 2015. It still has stable color, scratch coat is holding strong and impeccable adhesive clarity. Never been garaged. My choice toady would be 3M or LLumar.

      Hook up with Glassy Business and get all the ins and outs of pro vs DIY with window film. That company goes back way before my retirement in 2015. I want to believe they are/were a Vista Film dealer and I cannot remember the owner's name. Peace out.
