Snapping is a term used for when you shrink the bottom of a door glass on a peel board. Basically you create fingers in the film and shrink them out. To me that never made any sense. So what I term "snapping" is when I cut the door glass out then shrink it a second time. Basically cut the door glass out completely. Set the tint like you would normally to shrink it. Shrink all the fingers out. Now the film is completely flat along the bottom edge. Now you "snap". I.e. Lift up the bottom edge of the film and reshrink the bottome edge, almost as tho you were dry shrinking it. I prefer to do it while it's still on the door, so that way any real curve that's in the glass gets translated to the film being shrunk. Did that help?
