What causes these marks?

I'm pretty sure that happens when they roll&cut from the master and it does twist a little. It's from where they have to attach it to the core and then start rolling. It is usually towards the end of the roll.

Also, if you get a roll that is a little loose. Don't spin it or twist it or anything to tighten it up. It will do the same thing.
