:lol

:lol  I think he is thinking of ATC Films out of FL that turns clear in 2 years.  People seem to get that film confused with Llumar ATC.  I assume I know the shop he is at since the only other Huper dealer in the area is Naples which we all know.  If so, the fact that they advertise Solar Gard UP as a nano-ceramic film versus just a nano technology film pretty much sums up the knowledge shown above.  Solar Gard UP Plus is the nano-ceramic film.  This is on their website...

  • Huper Optik Xtreme: basic dark colored window tint
  • Solar Gard High Performance Supreme: basic dark tint with a metal inner-layer
  • Solar Gard Ultra Performance Nanotechnology: layered nano ceramic (like a space shuttle tile) (No Metal)

I never even mentioned ATC in my post.

Autobahn is owned by Huper USA but hired an outside company to do the layout. Same company that did Llumar and is now doing SolarGards restructure.

DynaPear.. .how come your not an Autobahn dealer anymore?

I assumed ATC since you stated Xtreme is Llumar...the only color stable dyed film Llumar has is ATC.  Autobahn program is actually owned by Vision Quest Distributing...not Huper Optik.  You might want to call Mark Carlson, which is who runs Autobahn.  We picked up Llumar to match better to privacy glass than Huper/Autobahn.  We were told we couldn't carry another brand and maintain Autobahn even though the 2 other dealers in GA were carrying 3M and Prestige.  We were told it was an "absolute deal breaker" and that they spoke to the other dealers about fazing their other films out.  We decided to leave them for Llumar because of this and then was told that it was "okay to carry other films, but not to advertise it".  We went through with leaving them for Llumar and picked up 3M.  Eight months later the 2 other dealers still carry 3M and Prestige.

Sorry, Autobahn is owned by HuperOptik USA.

Sorry I didn't make that clear!

:facepalm2  Call Mark Carlson at 888-995-5998...he is the one in charge of Autobahn.  The reason I know and most Autobahn dealers know it is NOT owned by Huper Optik or Eastman is because they changed the west coast distributor for Huper Optik from Vision Quest to Denco Sales and all the dealers were worried about losing Autobahn Performa and the program.  If you do not get it after that, you are officially the top 5 dumbest on this site.  Either way I won't respond anymore.
